Booking an Appointment

How to find and book a stylist.

Use the search bar on the FroHub homepage to find a service. You can filter by location, service type, and availability to find the perfect match. You’ll also see details about the hairdresser providing the service and can click through for more information.

Once you’ve selected a service, the available dates and times will be shown on the service page. Choose a time that works for you and proceed with requesting the booking.

After selecting a service and time, click ‘Request to Book’ and follow the steps to request an appointment. You’ll need to pay a deposit to secure your booking, but the deposit will only be charged once the booking is confirmed.

Yes! If a stylist offers multiple services, you can select and book them together in a single appointment.

You’ll receive a confirmation email and notification once the stylist has accepted your booking. You can also check the status in the My Bookings section of your FroHub account.

If the stylist hasn’t confirmed within 24 hours, you can message them directly through your dashboard. If you don’t hear back, you can cancel the request, and your deposit will be refunded.

If the stylist declines your booking request, your appointment won’t be confirmed, and your deposit will be refunded to your original payment method.

If the stylist suggests a new time for your pending booking request, you can choose to accept or decline it. To propose a different time before responding, message the stylist through the Message section in your dashboard or using the Message icon in the booking details. If you decline the suggested time, your deposit and booking fee will be refunded.

To check if a mobile stylist covers your area, enter your postcode on the service page. A message will confirm if the stylist covers your location and show any applicable travel fees.

You can view all your appointment details in the My Bookings section of your FroHub account.

  • Pending – Your booking request has been received by the stylist but not yet confirmed.

  • Confirmed – The booking has been confirmed by the stylist.

  • Declined by stylist – The stylist declined your booking request. No charge was made.

  • Reschedule proposed – The stylist suggested a new date.

  • Declined by client – You declined the rescheduled date. No charge was made.

  • Cancelled by client (early) – You cancelled within the allowed time and will receive a deposit refund.

  • Cancelled by client (late) – You cancelled too late to receive a deposit refund.

  • Cancelled by stylist – The stylist cancelled the appointment. You will be refunded your deposit and booking fee.

Payments & Deposits

Understanding how payments and deposits work.

The deposit is only charged once the stylist confirms your appointment.

Your deposit is securely held until your appointment is completed. If the stylist cancels or you cancel within the allowed period, your deposit will be refunded.

If you cancel within the allowed cancellation period, your deposit will be refunded to your original payment method within a few business days.

The booking fee is a small service charge that helps keep our platform running smoothly. It’s non-refundable unless the stylist cancels the appointment.

You’ll need to pay a deposit online at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid directly to the stylist at your appointment. Be sure to check their terms to see which payment methods they accept for the remaining balance. You can find the remaining balance in your confirmation email and in the My Bookings section of your dashboard.

Cancellations & Refunds

What to do if you need to cancel or change your booking.

At FroHub, we have a deposit refund policy in place to protect both our stylists and clients, ensuring a fair experience for everyone.

  • Cancellations up to 7 Days Before Appointment:
    If you cancel your booking at least 7 days before the scheduled appointment, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit. However, the booking fee is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations Within 7 Days:
    If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled appointment – or if the booking was made less than 7 days in advance – the deposit and booking fee are non-refundable.
  • If the Stylist Cancels:
    If the stylist cancels the appointment for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund of all payments, including both the deposit and the booking fee.

Why the 7-Day Notice?
The 7-day cancellation policy allows our stylists to fill their time slot with another client, reducing the financial impact of last-minute cancellations. We ask that clients keep this in mind when making bookings, as it helps stylists manage their schedules and maintain availability for all clients.

Go to My Bookings in your FroHub account, select the appointment, and choose Cancel Booking.

Rescheduling is at the discretion of the stylist. Please message them directly to see if they’re happy to reschedule.

Yes. If the stylist cancels, your deposit and booking fee will be fully refunded to your original payment method.

If you cancel within the allowed cancellation period, your deposit will be refunded, but not the booking fee. After this period, the deposit is non-refundable.

My FroHub Account

Managing your FroHub account and personal details.

Click Sign Up on the FroHub homepage and follow the steps to create your account. You can also create an account during checkout when booking a service for the first time.

Go to Account Settings in your FroHub dashboard to update your email, phone number, or other details.

Click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your password.

If you’d like to delete your account, please contact our support team by using the ‘Contact Support’ button in your account.

Messaging & Communication

Staying in touch with your stylist.

Once you’ve booked an appointment, you can message your stylist through the Messages section of your account. You can also message them directly from the booking by clicking the Message icon in the Stylist Details section.

If you have questions before booking, you can message the stylist directly from their profile page.

If you don’t hear back after 24 hours, you can try messaging again. If you still don’t get a response, contact FroHub support for help.

Yes! Use the Contact Support button in your account.

Yes, FroHub sends automatic reminders via email before your appointment.

Reviews & Feedback

Sharing your experience with the FroHub community.

After your appointment, you’ll receive an email prompting you to leave a review. You can also leave a review directly from the My Bookings section in your account.

To edit or delete your review, please contact FroHub support, and we’ll assist you in making the changes.

Visit the stylist’s profile or the specific service page to view reviews left by other clients.
