Is biotin good for hair growth?

Biotin is a supplement so it doesn't make your hair grow faster than usual but helps supplement the lacking biotin. However, many take biotin for hair loss assuming that may be the issue when it may be something else completely different like traction alopecia or iron deficiency. It's important to not assume but take action from a professional if suffering from sudden or gradual hair loss at a young age.
