What’s the difference between 4A, 4B, and 4C hair types?

I’m still trying to figure out exactly what my curl type is. I know I’m somewhere in the 4 range, but I get confused between 4A, 4B, and 4C. What are the main differences?

4A has loose, defined curls; 4B has tighter, zigzag curls; 4C is the tightest with minimal definition and most shrinkage.
